| This ogham stone is one of two stones standing 11' 2'' apart in a line E - W on a low ridge. The ogham stone measures 1.22m in height, 0.81m in width, 0.46m in depth and tapers towards the top to a point. The inscription, which is read vertical up, says "Donaidonas Maqi Mariani" and has been dated by Ziegler to 400 - 500 AD. Sadly in 2007 the ogham stone was knocked over after a heavy storm. |
