This Portal Tomb, not marked on the OS map, is located west of Lough Bridget, north
of the Derryruane River on a small, south facing, level platform. The tomb, orientated
SW, consists of a very large, rectangular capstone, measuring 4.6m in length, 3.8m in
width and 1.8m in depth, two portal stones, one prostrate, two side-stones and a
back-stone. The weight of the capstone has pushed the orthostats outwards, resulting in
the capstone collapsing into the rectangular chamber. The west portal stone, side-stone
and back-stone remain erect and the east portal stone and side-stone have fallen
eastwards. The circular mound extends 4m from the structure and cairn material is
most evident on the east and north sides.
