This is one of the most amazing portal tombs that i have ever had the pleasure
to come across. Sited about 10m into the tidal estuary of Poulnalibe creek, the tomb
becomes half covered with the full tide and seaweed covers the bottom of the tomb.
The capstone is rather small but the portal stones are massive give it a height of 2m
and 1.4m in width. The portal stones are 1.5m apart and support the capstone which
measures 1.8m long by 1.6m wide and 0.2m in depth. The back-stone measures 1.4m
in height,0.9m in width and 0.12m in depth but does not support the capstone. Its
orientation is controversial as it is facing east and this makes it very unusual. Access
is very difficult but at low tide it is advisable to approach from the shore-line.
