|ERVEY COURT TOMB

|This tomb is located in rough ground with good views east - south-east and south
across a valley, the site is set on a sheltered platform with higher ground to the north.
The tomb is well preserved & faces east and it consists of 2 portal stones, a low sill
stone, 2 large side stones and a back-stone. A loose stone in the chamber is possible
broken from the south portal. A possible capstone lies in from to the portals and a
2nd possible cap lies to NW. The north portal is 1.3m in height and the south 1m with
the top broken. The gallery is 2.8m in length and 0.95m in width. The side stones are
0.8m in height and the back-stone 1.1m. The possible capstone lying east measures
1.3m in length,0.95m in width and 0.25m in depth.
