Located on top of a wide flat ridge with fine views north, but moderate elsewhere, this
site consists of a low, roughly circular cairn with trees growing on it. The cairn is 12m
- 13m diameter and  0.7m in height. Off centre towards the SE of the cairn is a
chamber. It consists of a basalt capstone, presently set at the level of the cairn's surface
supported by 7 closely fitted rectangular uprights enclosing a septagonal chamber. The
chamber is below ground level and is open and filled with modern rubbish. The
chamber is 1.2m in depth and the capstone is 1.8m in length,1.1m in width and 0.4m in
depth. The tomb is also known as 'The Black Stone' -'The Daff Stone' and 'The Duff
Stone'.
