| This large monolith, marked on the OS map as 'Gallan or Longstone', is located on the east side of a small prominence overlooking Oranmore Bay, 'Cuan Oran Mor' to the east and SW of Galway City. The thin stone, orientated NE - SW, measures 2.3m in height, 0.60m in width and 0.20m in depth. |
