| This small megalithic tomb, marked on the OS map as 'Dolmen' & 'Stone Circle', is located south of the Lavally River, on the west side of raised scrub land. The tomb. orientated NW - SE, consists of a sub-circular roof-stone, measuring 1.8m in length, 1.5m in width and 0.40m in depth, which is supported by a single boulder on each side to a height of 0.25m above present ground level. There is no evidence of a cairn or mound visible. Two large orthostats from a possible stone circle are located 10m SW. |
