| Located on a west face slope with great views over the Lispole valley,this stone row consists of three stones 7.55m apart and orientated on the setting sun at the Winter Solstice. The tallest stone at the NE end of the row is 3m in height,1.7m in width and 0.40m in depth. The middle stone 1.38m SW,is 2.2m in height,1.1m in width and 0.40m in depth. The third stone 1.65m SW again,is 2.1m in height.1.3m in width and 0.50m in depth. 60m to the NE is the standing stone at Ardamore. This stone row and standing stone arrangement is very similar to the arrangement at Rossnakilla County Cork. |
