| Sadly,this once mighty standing stone has now fallen. When it stood upright, it would have dominated the skyline of the surrounding countryside,standing at 3m tall. The views here are just fantastic. To the south is the unmistakable sight of Ireland's tallest mountain, Carrauntoohil, which on this day, was shrouded in mist along with the other tall peaks of the Macgullycuddy Reeks. It is located just beside a graveyard in Killorglin, west Kerry. |
