| Listed on the OS maps as 'standing stones' but now only this small stone remains. It is sited on a small green area at the top of a cul-de-sac in a housing estate north of Tralee. It only measures 0.90m in height, 0.80m in width and 0.36m in depth. The local residents have secured it in the ground with concrete so at least this stone will have a future in the community.I was unsuccessful in locating an ogham stone said to be sited 100m to the west but it may have be in a souterrain under the ruined Rath. |
