| Cahernagat / Cathair na gCat is a small circluar cashel located on the lower SE slopes of Croaghmarhin. It is 17.3m in diameter with a max wall thickness of 1.73m & a max height of 1.9m and in the interior is the remains of two huts,a souterrain and an ogham stone. Two field walls radiate from the fort and may be later and built with the masonry from the fort. |
