|TULLYGARRAN II OGHAM STONE
|This ogham stone was discovered here in 1848, along with 6 others, after a storm
uncovered an ancient burial-ground over looking Smerwick Bay in Kilvickillane. It was
subsequently transferred in 1848 to Chute Hall, near Tralee, where it remains. The
stone measures 1.1m in height & 0.29 x 0.20m at the base. Two opposed angles bear
the inscription: CCICAMINI MAQQ(I) C(A)TTINI (Macalister, 1945).
