| This megalithic tomb is located NE of Urlingford (Ath an nUrlainn), is level pasture land next to a field boundary and it is sited on top of a small mound, 5m in diameter, and is orientated NNE - SSW. The tomb consists of a large boulder like roof stone, three smaller boulders which could be support stones and many other erect stones that suggest some sort of kerb. The characteristics of the tomb would suggest some sort of single chamber passage tomb. |
