LAMOGUE OGHAM STONE II

LLAMOGUE 2 OGHAM STONE, COUNTY KILKENNY
This ogham stone,along with Lamogue I, is now located in the dis-used graveyard of
Lamogue, 10 km from Carrick-on Suir. It now lies prostrate and measures 1.37m in
length, 0.38m in width, 0.28m in depth and was dated by Ziegler to 700 - 900 AD. It
tapers to the top, which has been spalled, but does not damage  the cutting of  the        
inscription which reads "Dovatuci Avi Tulotanagia".
