| Located 50m west of a head water of the Pil River, this portal tomb has recently been cleared of heavy bramble growth and is marked on both the OSI and historic maps as "Druid's Altar". It is sited south of three large hills to the north, Kilmacoliver Hill to the north-west, Carriganog Hill to the north and Garryduff Hill to the north-east. The portal stones, which measure 1.6m, have fallen forward and the sub-circular capstone, which measures 2m by 1.8m, is supported by the side-stones and the back-stone. The small door-stone blocks the entrance to the chamber which is orientated north-east. |
