| Again this is marked on the OS maps as 'The Druids Altar' and the National Monuments Inventory as a megalithic structure. It is clearly man-made,sited on the top of a knoll on a hill. It may be a cist being 1.8m square in shape,now filled with water so the inner walls were very hard to see. There are large stones close by and may be some of these were the capstones. |
