

| GRANGE BEG STONE CIRCLE |

| This Stone Circle, also known as Lough Gur C Stone Circle, is located on the eastern shores of Lough Gur, 'Loch Goir', 100m north and on the north side of the field boundary of the larger stone circle at Grange, was built around 2,100 BC by Bronze Age people living around the lake. The circle consists of 15 stones but may have contained 2 more, arranged in a rough circle, with a large tree growing out of the base of the most southerly stone. |
