This wedge tomb is situated on the west side of the valley of the Kilcurry River. It
consists of a substantial grass-grown oblong mound 12m in length, 7m in width and
1m in height,in which there is the remains of a long gallery, aligned NNE-SSW. Two
clumps of white-thorn trees grow on the south end of the mound. The gallery is at least
4.5m long, is aligned almost N-S with the entrance at the south end. A large septal
-stone marks the south end of the gallery. The east side of the gallery is represented by
at least five stones but only two possible side-stones are visible on the west side. Near
the north end of the mound is a low set stone with a gabled top. It may be a back-stone
or a kerb-stone. A prostrate slab in the gallery area may be a displaced roof-stone.
