|PADDOCK WEDGE TOMB
|This wedge tomb is incorporated in a field wall which abuts it at east and west. It
consists of a gallery, 3.9m in length and averaging about 1.2m in width, orientated
E-W. The north side of the gallery is represented by five stones and the south side by six
stones with the more westerly of these set in advance of the septal stone. The gallery
which is covered by four stones, decreases in height from west to east. Outer walling is
represented at the north by one stone and at the south by four stones. Eight low buttress
stones, set at right angles to the gallery wall, are exposed along the south side.
