| This ogham stone stands at the back of a farmhouse and its exceptional size, suggests that it was originally a Bronze Age megalithic pillar-stone,adapted later by an ogham carver. This huge stone stands at 2.82m in height,1.04m in width and .25m in depth,is composed of grit and has been dated by Ziegler to about 500 550 AD. It reads "Maq Cerani Avi Athecetaimin". |
