| This huge monolith, marked on both the OS and Historic maps as 'Standing Stone', is located east of the Cloonalaghan River, overlooking Lackan Bay and SE of the village of Rathlackan, 'Rath Leacain'. The huge stone, orientated NW - SE, is sited on a gentle north facing slope and measures 3.4m in height, 0.50m in width and 0.30m in depth. |
