| This Ogham Stone is located in a copse on the left-hand side of the road from Bellanagare to Rathcroghan called 'The Long Acre' and it can be easily accessed from the first road turning to the left after leaving Bellanagare, 'Beal Atha na gCarr'. It measures 1.09m in height, 0.41m in width and 0.51m in depth and is only 5m from another un-inscribed standing stone. There is a fracture at the end of the inscription but what remains reads "CUNOVATO" and has been dated by Ziegler to 400 - 550 AD. |
