| This group of standing stones, marked on the OS map as 'Standing Stones', are located on an east-west ridge in good pasture land close to a road. They are recorded as originally being 6 stones here but only 3 remain standing and the butts of 2 others. The three remaining pillars, composed of mud-stone, are aligned roughly E-W and measure 1.7m - 1.6m in height, 0.46m - 0.3m in width and 0.3m - 0.25m in depth. |
