| This ring fort is 60m in diameter and is said to be part of the Royal sites of the Kings of Connaught. It is located 600m NNW of the souterrain at Owenygat and due west of Rathcroghan. It has a single deep ditch and was ceremonial rather than for defensive purposes. It is well defined and the wide entrance to the north is still clearly visible. Also known as ' Fort of the Bulls '. |
