This fallen Standing Stone , marked on both the OS and Historic maps as 'Mileen
Meba', is one of two stones located north of the Royal enclosure at Rathcruachan. The
stone measures 1.8m in length, 0.50m in width and 0.30m in depth.  The stone is
believed in ancient Celtic Mythology to represent the future husband of the warrior
'Queen Medb' (or Meave), and along with her stone, 'Misgaun Meba', all future Kings
Of Connaught must pass between them before entering the Royal Palace at
Rathcruachan.
