| This megalithic tomb, marked on the OS map as 'Druid's Altar', is located on 100m west of the Easky River 'An Iaseaigh', in level pasture. The tomb is sited on an oval mound, 10m E - W and 3m N - S, and consists of six erect orthostats and two prostrate slabs. The erect stones, aligned E - W, range in height from 2.3m - 1.8m and the prostrate slabs, at the west end of the structure, are 1.8m and 1.6m in length. A large prostrate slab, measuring 3.2m x 1.8m x 0.6m, lies 2m south of the mound and maybe a displaced roof-stone. |
