This much ruined Court Tomb, marked on the OS map as 'Dermot & Grania's Bed', is
located on a poorly drained low-lying patch of ground. The tomb, trapezoidal in plan,
consists of the inner end of a SSE-facing gallery, 4m in length and 2.6m in width and is
divided by segmenting jambs inset in the gallery walls, into a well-preserved rear
chamber 2m in length. The outer chamber now represented by two opposed sidestones
and an upright stone between these two sidestones and crossing the gallery and 3m east
are three kerb-stones and 2m west is another. There are a number of displaced stones at
the site including a group of four just south of the gallery and there is some cairn fill
in the gallery and between it and the kerbstones. There is an unclassified megalithic
tomb 50m ENE.
