| This is a fine, if little known Court Tomb, is sited on a large platform that is 100m in circumference and is marked on the OS map as 'Stone Circle'. The gallery, orientated E -W, is 11m in overall length and 1.7m in width and is divided into two chambers. The east chamber is 4.3m in length and the west chamber 3.2m in length. The court, 3m in diameter, is defined by three erect orthostats on the north side and two prostrate slabs on the south side. It has fine views north over Ballysadare Bay but trees restrict its views east, west and south. |
