| This greatly ruined megalithic tomb stands about 300m SE of the wedge tomb at Gortkeeran and is on the foot of the ridge occupied by that tomb. It consists of a number of large prostrate slabs and leaning stones along with some small set stones and range in height from 2.3m - 0.6m and the remains stretch 7.5m SE-NW, which is perhaps the alignment of the structure. Along the north side of structure there are three large displaced slabs, the largest of which is 3.5m in length, 2.4m in height and 0.6m in depth. There are also other smaller displaced and partly buried stones at the site and traces of mound survive along the north side and west end of the structure. |
