| This fine Stone Row, marked on the OS map as 'The Three Stones' and also known as 'Carrigeen Stone Row', is situated on a platform of ground in an upland area overlooking a stream to the north, a Stone Circle to the NW and a Stone Pair at Burges Beg to the west. The site consists of a row of three stones, aligned E-W, with an overall length of 8m. The east stone measures 1.77m in height, 1.4m in width and 0.5m in depth. The center stone measures 1.9m in height, 1.38m in width and 0.5m in depth. The west stone measures 1.64m in height, 1.1m in width and 0.65m in depth. Packing stones are visible at the base of all three stones. |
