| A wonderful wedge tomb that has the slight appearance of a court tomb. This is because it has a more north-south alignment than the usual north-east, south- west. The ante-chamber is 1.4m in height and 2m wide and the other chamber is 1.7m in height. The tomb is covered by two massive roof slabs slightly over lapping. The tomb is surrounded by an intact 9m in diameter kerb with some of the stones being 0.35m in height. It may have an equinox sunrise alignment. It is well sign posted from the road and the farm owner has provided stepping some stones for easy access across the fields. |
