| Situated on a ridge in undulating pasture. A large orthostat, 1.6m in length,0.25-0.4m in width and 0.7m in height, appears to be the septal-stone or alternatively the western closing stone of a wedge tomb gallery. A smaller example at right angles to the southern end of this orthostat seems to be a side-stone. A tree has grown up around the latter stone partially covering it. In the 1980s another side-stone stood on the N side of the gallery and immediately outside it there was a further stone possibly representing a doubling of the gallery wall. Two prostrate slabs at the site are locally claimed to have formed part of the structure. |
