| Sadly this once mighty standing stone has now fallen. It would have stood out like a beacon when it was standing,been seen from many miles around. It mesures an impressive 2.45m in length,1.2m in width and is 0.9m in depth. There are conflicting views as to how old it is, some saying it is modern but it was recorded in 1938 as a standing stone in the National Monuments Inventory. |
