| Ten Ogham inscribed pillar stones, apparently conveyed from an ancient cemetery enclosure in the immediate neighbour-hood, had been utilized in the construction of an underground souterrain. Five of the stones are now erect beside the souterrain while the others remain in place as lintels over the open structure. The stones range in length, from 1.65m to 0.97m, 0.66m to 0.27m in width and 0.30m to 0.02m in depth. The stones have been dated to 400 AD - 700 AD by Ziegler. |
