GLEBE OGHAM STONE |
PHOTO by Pip POWELL FEB 2010 |
A very small and perhaps a fragment of an ogham stone that is lying prostrate inside the ruined church in the town of Cappoquin in County Waterford. The inscription is very faint and hard to read. It measures just 0.63m in length, is 0.25m in width and 0.05m in depth. There was a bullaun stone listed to be here but that seems to have gone, maybe because of the present work being carried out on the site. |
