| This fine example of a standing stone is located on the front lawn of the Community school in the centre of Gorey town. It measures 2.1m in height, 0.47m X 0.14m at the base tapering almost to a point at the top and is orientated NE - SW. It may have been damaged from the middle to the base on the SE face and there is some iron oxide present at the top SE face. Access is fine during school hours. |
