| This tumulus or cairn, is located 50m east of the standing stone at Killabeg and is very badly over-grown with small shrubs and thorn bushes. The surface is covered with holes from badgers or rabbits which have exposed the boulders and stones that make up the structure. It is about 25m in diameter and in the middle there seems to be a level platform, littered with deep holes but only an excavation could truly determine this. Extra care should be taken if visiting this particular site. |
