| Sadly this is a very overgrown portal tomb,one of only two in county Wexford, the other being Ballybrittas,but to be fair to the land owner,a nice young man,he has been trying to get the county archaeologists to assist him in ways to conserve and manage the tomb. He has erected a wire fence to keep livestock at bay and left a 5m margin around the tomb. And i think it would be very worth while judging by the amount of stone and cairn material that is still present in the thorn and bramble bushes. |
